If BJP wins 2024, there will be no more elections in the country: Sanjay Singh
Singh claimed that the same had never happened before in the past, that a ruling party has won without elections.
Mr Sanjay Singh has been elected to the Upper House of Parliament from the National Capital Region of Delhi.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh, who was re-elected to the Rajya Sabha for a second term, on Tuesday took oath of membership in the presence of Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar in his office.
Mr Dhankhar shook hands with him after the oath. Deputy Chairman Harivansh was also present on the occasion.
Mr Singh has been in Tihar Jail since October, 2023 in connection with the scrapped Delhi liquor excise policy case.

The AAP leader could not take oath on an earlier occasion because of four cases of breach of privilege pending against him before the Upper House Privileges Committee.
Mr Singh was suspended on 24 July, 2023, and on 11 August, the House passed a motion continuing his suspension till the Privileges Committee submits its findings.
Mr Sanjay Singh has been elected to the Upper House of Parliament from the National Capital Region of Delhi.
